I am also learning about keyboard shortcuts. For example, on my Kindle onscreen keyboard, the letter "a" has in the upper right of the button, a faded @ symbol. If you hold the a key for a second, an orange button with a @ symbol will pop up and a @ symbol will go in the text box. Cool. If you hold the "a" for more than a second, many choices will pop up. You can select any one of those choices, or simply close out of it.
